Re-siting plant containers and pots is a job many put off for as long as possible. The task is back-breaking and difficult. However, help is at hand. The PotMover is designed as a convenience for the millions of gardeners who now view their patio as a "Room Outside", an extension of the house. Container gardening is a key element of that style of gardening, but until now, people have held back from buying all the pots they wanted: Moving them was a backbreaking chore, and once you picked them up, the plant was in your face. The FORT PotMover makes pot-moving an instant, easy, and dignified operation. We are really impressed with this inexpensive, but good quality gardening gadget. The PotMover is a lightweight but strong carrier that is simple and almost effortless to use. This product is made by the Fort Group, Europe's leading manufacturer of wheelbarrows and hand trucks. Established in 1951 the Group has now grown to encompass three state-of-the-art manufacturing sites in Holland, Denmark and Norway.

TO USE the PotMover you simply roll the rubber-tipped buffers up to the side of the pot and lower the grabber arms onto the edge of the pot. NOW when you tilt back the trolley, the pot will float clear of the ground, and you can effortlessly roll it to its new location. - A FOLD-OUT footplate is designed-in which will provide extra support when bouncing pots down steps or over kerbs. Since this reduces the pressure on the side wall of the pot, you may also choose to engage it when moving antique or particularly brittle pots. - WHEN MOVING moving thin-walled plastic pots, or other containers made from brittle or fragile materials, fit the rubber caps provided over the pointed tips of the metal hooks. (Always ensure that the side wall is strong enough to carry the weight of the pot.) - THE BASE of the PotMover incorporates a stand which allows it to remain upright when you leave it for a moment in between lifts. You won't have to bend down and pick it up each time.

The sliding mechanism that carries the grabber arms is completely adjustable and will adapt to pots high or low. Even those awkward rectangular containers can now be moved around the garden without expending much effort at all. The PotMover supports loads of 50 kg (110 lbs) with ease. If that isn't enough for you, just fold down the built-in footplate. That increases its carrying capacity to 75 kg! (165 lbs). Maximum container height: 75cm (30") - Maximum diameter: 50cm (20")
