PROPANE
REGULATORS
A regulator is required to attach
all gas appliances to gas bottles. We recommend the use
of a 13kg "Patio Gas" propane gas bottle by Calor Gas, which
requires the use of an easy-to-use "clip-on" regulator.
Other bottles may require a different "screw-fitting" regulator.

Gas
Bottles - You can use either butane (traditionally for
the home market and generally in a blue bottle) or propane
(generally in a red bottle). We recommend
propane for patio heaters, not only because it
burns slightly hotter, but it generally behaves better at
lower temperatures (ie at times when a patio heater may
be required to function). Find your local supplier by looking
under 'bottled gas' in the Yellow Pages, or call Calorgas
on 0800 662 663.
Gas Regulator - A gas regulator is required to attach
all patio heaters to the gas bottle. At
we recommend the use of a 13kg "Patio Gas" propane gas bottle
by Calor Gas, which requires the use of an easy-to-use "clip-on"
regulator. To make things simple, we are currently supplying
our Terrace Patio Heater with a FREE
Clip-on Regulator. If you require a different
type of regulator, please let us know before we despatch
your patio heater. |
